What are the functions of different types of Valves?

When a valve is being produced it takes multiple manufacturing steps depending on the type of the valve. For manufacturing durable valve bodies, the manufacturing company has to add several components and inner parts. Threads must be drilled into the areas so that it can be connected to the other valve parts, or to upstream and downstream pipes.

A check valve is also known as a one-way valve as it allows the flow of the fluid in one direction only. These valves are often used in a variety of applications such as gas and liquid pipelines. These industrial valves are automatic and get started by the force produced by the flow of fluid through the pipeline.  There are different types of check valves,  swing check valves is one of them that is used widely in steam systems, gas export facilities, product tank farms, gas storage tanks, etc.

Swing check valve:

Swing Check Valve Manufacturer has designed the check valve for unobstructed, seamless flow that is closed automatically as the fluid pressure decreases.

Anatomy: The swing check valve’s body includes the valve, the cap, and the disc that is connected to the hinge.  For making the fluid move forward, the disc waves away from the valve seat, and when the flow is stopped it goes back to the valve seat. And when the flow is stopped, it prevents backflow.  There are several discs and seat designs available to fulfill the requirements of different applications purposes. A swing check valve can be manufactured with different kinds of materials depending on the fluid’s pressure. Steel, brass, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are some of the common materials that are used to make a swing check valve. The swing check valve is widely used for commercial, domestic, and industrial industries for different purposes.

Function:

The swing check valve system is similar to the valve systems, based on gravity and reverse flow for operation and therefore does not need any other merchandise to get the function done. The basic function of valve systems is similar to the swing check valves that are also known as the tilting disc check valves.

Electric Actuated Valve:

The function of Electric Valve Actuator:  Electric valve actuators are electro-mechanical machines that are used to control quarter turn valves with a push-button system, such as ball and butterfly valves. If you compare electric valve actuators to their pneumatic and hydraulic counterparts, its method is more energy-efficient, and clean of valve control. You can purchase them together from a Pneumatic actuated valve manufacturer with the valve as a package or if you want to purchase it as a separate unit, you can buy it from Electric Actuated Valve Manufacturer.

Anatomy:

The Electric Actuated Valves for the quarter-turn are a type of rotary motorized valve actuators. They convert electrical energy into rotary force, and a quarter turns electric actuator can turn up to 90 degrees only. The electric motor generates a rotary force also known as torque, that is transmitted to the turn valve through an output drive. It contains both voltage options i.e either AC (alternating current), DC (direct current), or they are able to operate on either one. The electric motor is housed in a robust that also comprises the other components like gearings, limit switches, wiring, etc. The whole assembled machine is attached to a valve by a compatible connection interface.

The valves are used widely whatever it is your home, a commercial building, or in industries.

If you are planning to set up an industry you are required to be a Control valve manufacturer to meet certain requirements.
